Hello,

My name is Matt Warren, and I’m reaching out to request your permission to use your likeness and voice in an animated project currently in development.

I’m a longtime viewer and genuine fan of your work across your channels, and this project is very much a passion endeavor. Before proceeding further into animation, I want to ensure I have your explicit approval so there are no surprises or concerns later.

For this project, I have used AI voice technology (11Labs) to model voices during the development phase. Nothing will be released or published without permission. At this stage, the project is unfunded, not monetized, and not attached to an active YouTube channel, though I am evaluating the possibility of launching one in the future. If the project is ultimately released, it may receive attention, which is why I want to be fully transparent from the outset.

The animation is a long-form cartoon episode (approximately 25 minutes) and will likely take until summer to complete. I am contacting participants individually so adjustments can be made easily if anyone prefers not to be included. If I do not receive permission, I will replace the character without issue.

I’m simply seeking a thumbs-up to continue. There is no obligation, no ongoing communication required, and no expectation beyond consent. The intent is respectful, professional, and celebratory of the people involved. You will not be portrayed negatively.

I’ve included a rough audio sample for reference. Please note that it is an early draft created quickly and will be refined significantly as production continues.

If you’re open to it, this finished cartoon would be my gift to you. You would be welcome to share it if you choose or even post it on your own channel, free of charge. My only condition to this would be that if I make a Youtube channel it could live there as well.
